The programme is ideal if you are looking to take your HR career to the next level and have the opportunity to start focusing on strategy in your job role and is aligned to the Level 5 CIPD Diploma in People Management.

 

It aims to expand your knowledge of HR so that you gain a deeper understanding of the professional behaviours, strategies, tools and techniques that can add value to your job role, career progression and encourages you to apply your learning as a true business partner and add value to organisational success.

Course Overview

The Level 5 People Professional Apprenticeship, featuring the CIPD Level 5 Associate Diploma in People Management, equips participants with advanced knowledge and skills essential for expert roles within human resources.

 

The course investigates internal and external data sources that are key to effective people management and explores using people systems to maximise business value.

 

Apprentices will learn about diverse people operating models suited for various business types, from small enterprises to large, complex organisations.

 

This comprehensive programme covers HR functions, including regulatory compliance with data protection and employment legislation, strategic problem-solving, decision-making, and project management.

 

Additionally, the curriculum addresses the latest digital trends and their application in HR practices, commercial and budgetary management, and specialised areas such as equity, diversity, inclusion, and employee wellbeing.

 

Skills training includes stakeholder communication, policy advisement, data analysis, and implementing people solutions to align with business objectives, all while encouraging a diverse and inclusive work environment.

End Point Assessment

The End Point Assessment will only commence once the employer, apprentice and EDN Training Consultant are confident that the apprentice has developed all the knowledge, skills and behaviours defined in the apprenticeship standard and clearly evidenced by the on programme progression review meetings and records.​​

Practical Observation


The practical observation will be pre-planned and scheduled to when the apprentice will be in their normal place of work and will be carried out by the Independent Assessor.

 Professional Discussion


The professional discussion will be a structured discussion between the apprentice and the Independent Assessor, following the observation, to establish the apprentice’s understanding and application of knowledge, skills and behaviours.

​​

 Completion

Independent end assessor confirms that each assessment element has been completed. The overall grade is determined by the independent end assessor based on the combination of performance in all assessment activities.
